System Reset Process

What it means:

When E-code errors occur such as:

  • E10-257
  • E36-1025
  • E52-65537
  • Etc...

How to fix it:

To resolve the system error, please follow the steps below:

  1. Unplug Ovvi’s power adapter.
  2. Wait 5 seconds and then plug the power adapter back in. 
  3. Ovvi will start to make noises as it starts up.  Wait until all the noises are finished and the LED light in front is a solid color. (Not breathing or rotating.)
  4. Open the lid and remove the Chute System. (NOTE: Do not forcefully pull on the Chute System if it is stuck as that will damage Ovvi.  If the Chute System is stuck, skip the rest of the steps here and follow the Manual Chute Release process instead.)
  5. Eject all the used cans from the Used Can Chute.
  6. Load 8 new cans into the New Can Chute.  If you do not have 8, load as many as you have but at a minimum, you must load 1 can.
  7. Insert the Chute System back into Ovvi.  Ovvi will make noises as it process them and get ready for the next feeding.  
  8. Open your Ovvi App.  Click on the Schedule section and then click on Clear Current Can.  Ovvi will make noises to clear the current can inside the nest or if there isn't one, it will go through the motions.  This helps reset the alignment of the mechanical parts within.
  9. Once Ovvi finishes the Clear Current Can process and there are no more movement noises, Ovvi will now operate as normal.  If you did not load up to 8 cans before, pull out the Chute System and load up to 8 cans on the new can side and eject all used cans.
