Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty is provided by Faunalogy Inc. ("Faunalogy," "we," "us") and applies to Faunalogy Products purchased new from Faunalogy or an authorized reseller (the "Product"). For Products purchased directly from Faunalogy, this Limited Warranty is part of, and incorporated into, the Faunalogy Terms and Conditions of Sale, available at https://faunalogy.com/policies/terms-of-service.
1. What This Warranty Covers
Faunalogy warrants that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use in accordance with the Product documentation for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase (the "Warranty Period").
2. What Faunalogy Will Do
If a defect covered by this Limited Warranty arises during the Warranty Period and a valid claim is received, Faunalogy will, at its option, repair the Product, replace the defective Product or part with a new or refurbished equivalent, or refund the purchase price of the Product. Repair, replacement, or refund as described above is your exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty. A replaced or repaired Product is warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or thirty (30) days from the date of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.
3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or improper handling, storage, or maintenance;
• Damage caused by use with wildlife, livestock, or animals other than domestic pets, or use inconsistent with the Product documentation;
• Damage caused by unauthorized modification, disassembly, or repair;
• Normal wear and tear, and consumable components;
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality;
• Damage caused by external causes, including power surges, water damage not covered by the Product’s stated ratings, or acts of nature; and
• Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, or Products whose serial number has been altered or removed.
4. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, contact Faunalogy customer support at helpmeow@faunalogy.com within the Warranty Period. Please include your name, proof of purchase, the Product serial number, and a description of the issue. If warranty service is required, Faunalogy will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. You must prepay shipping to Faunalogy’s designated service location unless otherwise authorized by Faunalogy; Faunalogy will pay the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement Product back to you.
5. Sole Warranty
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS FAUNALOGY’S ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY FOR THE PRODUCT AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN. NO RESELLER, AGENT, OR EMPLOYEE IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATION, EXTENSION, OR ADDITION TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 6.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FAUNALOGY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PRODUCT OR THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, VETERINARY COSTS, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, AND FAUNALOGY’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
7. State Variations
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty does not affect statutory rights that may apply to your purchase.
8. Governing Law; Dispute Resolution
This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
For Products purchased directly from Faunalogy, this Limited Warranty is subject to the dispute resolution provisions of the Faunalogy Terms and Conditions of Sale, available at https://faunalogy.com/policies/terms-of-service, including binding arbitration and a class action waiver, with a right to opt out.
For Products purchased from an authorized reseller, any dispute arising out of or relating to this Limited Warranty shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, New York, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
