A7-005: Replace Blade

What it means:

The opener blade has reached its recommended number of cuts and needs to be replaced. Blades naturally dull and degrade over time, which can cause uneven cuts or cutting errors if not replaced. Ovvi is designed so you can replace the blade without having to purchase a whole new feeder.

How to fix it:

1. Order a replacement blade kit using the link provided in the app or support site.

2. Read the instructions and/or watch the official video guide on how to replace the blade.

3. Carefully install the new blade according to the instructions.

4. After replacement, press the “Resolved” button immediately to restart the blade life cycle count.

NOTE:

• If the “Resolved” button is not pressed right after replacement, the next blade warning will not be accurate.

• If it is not pressed at all, you will not receive another warning when the blade wears out again.
