A1-003: Unopened Can in Used Can Chute

What it means:

Ovvi attempted to open a can but was not able to. Ovvi then placed the unopened can into the Used Can Chute. 

How to fix it:

There is no immediate action required unless this was your last can.

  • If it was your last can:
    • Immediately replace the chute system with new cans and eject the old ones.
    • Remove the unopened can from the ejected used cans.
    • If it is not damaged or heavily dented, reload it correctly into the New Can Chute with the lip facing upward.
  • If it was not your last can:
    • You can continue as normal, but remember you lost one can.
    • Plan to reload and unload earlier than usual, since one can was unusable.
    • When the time comes for reloading and unloading, remove the unopened can from the ejected used cans.  
    • If it is not damaged or heavily dented, reload it correctly into the New Can Chute with the lip facing upward.
    • Don’t worry — Ovvi will automatically reflect this in the app. 
      • Can count will decrease.
      • Meal count will adjust accordingly.
