✓ Your cat eats wet food from 5.5 oz cans ONLY. Ovvi is built specifically for 5.5 oz round cans — any brand, any flavor, pull-tab or not.
NOTE:
- Ovvi will NOT WORK with 3 oz, 5.1 oz, or 6 oz cans.
- Prescription foods often come in smaller sizes. Check with your vet or the food's manufacturer — some formulas come in 5.5 oz, some don't. Ovvi can only feed your cat if their food comes in 5.5 oz cans.
✓ Your cat (or cats combined) typically finishes at least one 5.5 oz can per day — but not necessarily all at once. Ovvi can serve a can in smaller portions across the day: 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, or 3/4 of a can per feeding, up to 10 scheduled feedings a day.
✓ You have space for Ovvi. Ovvi is 16"L × 14.2"W × 17.9"H and weighs 13.5 lbs. Measure your spot before ordering so it fits where you want it.
✓ You're willing to give a shy cat time to adjust. Most cats take to Ovvi within a few days, but a cautious or timid cat can take a week or more — and it takes patience and consistency on your part to get them there. If you're not able to commit to a gradual adjustment period, Ovvi may not be the right fit, and that's okay. But if you're willing to work with your cat through the transition, we'll guide you every step, and the payoff is worth it.

What size cans does Ovvi work with?
Ovvi is designed exclusively for standard 5.5 oz circular pet food cans — with or without pull tabs (Ovvi opens both). Similar sized cans such as 3 oz or 6 oz cans will not work. It must be 5.5 oz.
How does OVVI work?
Ovvi automatic wet food feeder can open up to 8 (5.5oz) cans of pet food and feed your fur baby safely and consistently based on your chosen schedule. The feeder connects to your smartphone via the Ovvi Pet Feeder app, allowing you to schedule feeding times, set portion sizes, and control the feeder remotely.
Is this only for wet/canned food?
Yes, the Ovvi wet food pet feeder is designed to handle canned food. It works with any brand of cat food from any 5.5 oz standard cans.
Do I need to open the cans first?
No! That’s the best part: Ovvi will open the cans for you. Easily load up to 8 unopened 5.5 oz cans in less than a minute! Don't worry about the tabs, Ovvi will open the can even with tabs on them, as long as they are 5.5 oz cans.
How do I link my Ovvi to my app?
Download and set up the Ovvi Pet Feeder app and create an account. If this is your first time creating an account, the app will walk you through linking your Ovvi to the app. If you are linking a second Ovvi or re-linking an Ovvi, go to the “Settings” page of the app and choose “Link my Ovvi.” Then, follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Ovvi.
