Cats love to stare at us while we’re eating and it can be difficult to say no to their precious face. But even if our cats find everything tasty, we should be mindful of what we are sharing with them. While some human foods are healthy for cats, there’s also some which could be toxic. Cats are natural hunters in the wild, so they love meat above all else. Yet, there are a few other human foods that can benefit them too. Here are 11 of the many human foods that are good for our cats.
#1 – Fish
Fish, especially salmon, are common in cat food recipes. Cats find fish delicious, and they’re a great source of omega fatty acids for healthy skin. Let’s just be sure the fish scraps we give our cats are not seasoned.

Chicken is another meat that cats adore and benefit from. Seasoning and fatty parts should be removed though. Beef is another great protein option, but let’s avoid ham because it’s fatty and high in sodium.

Not every cat will be a fan of spinach, but it’s an incredibly healthy choice. Spinach contains vitamins A, C, and K, along with iron and calcium. Some cats will nibble on spinach by itself, but others might want us to mix it with tastier snacks.
